futureproof is a technology training company that launches and develops the tech superstars of the future. Set up by La Fosse Associates, a technology recruitment company with over a decade of experience, futureproof was built to address two key issues:

1.     The lack of skilled junior talent within software engineering

2.     The lack of diversity within the tech industry

How does futureproof help its clients build diverse, high-performing talent pipelines?

futureproof chooses the top 2% of over 1,000 applicants through a rigorous assessment process which tests both aptitude and attitude. Students are trained in full-stack software development and technology fundamentals in a real-life environment before being placed into clients such as Babylon Health, OVO Energy and Coca Cola for a two-year period. Associates (and their managers) receive mentoring and coaching throughout this time to ensure they continue to add value to the business.

The course teaches techniques over tools, and is regularly updated with input from clients to anticipate in-demand skills. futureproof is free for students, because the organisation believes in ability, not just the ability to pay.
