After an exciting Rising Stars Semi Final hosted at Barclays Eagle Labs in Manchester, we can now reveal the 20 early-stage tech companies through to the Grand Final at London’s Rich Mix on 5 March 2019.
Complete with pitch training workshops and mentoring from Sunderland Software City, the Semi Final gave companies the chance to refine their skills before pitching to an expert judging panel made up of: Mark Sykes (BDO Drive), Ed Prior (GP Bullhound), Sarah Revelliard (Microsoft Bing), Tracey Johnson (Enterprising Barnsley), Naomi Timperley (Tech North Advocates) and Kelly Clarke (TLT LLP). In addition, a celebratory evening event offered founders the opportunity to network with their peers, previous competition alumni and programme sponsors, Microsoft, Bing, BDO Drive and TLT LLP.
