This week sees the launch of our US Growth Workshop as Tech Nation increases the support on offer to UK tech scaleups internationalising.
Fifteen UK tech scaleups join the inaugural Tech Nation US Growth Workshop. These span across several sub-sectors of tech including, EdTech, HealthTech, FinTech and Net Zero and over 60% of the cohort are post Series A funding.
The US has been identified as one of the top target markets for international expansion by UK tech scaleups. However, international expansion – especially into a market like the US – can be very costly, both financially and on time and resource.
The brand new workshop, sponsored by Wilson Sonsini, Fragomen, and Foothold America, is a series of six sessions that will aid tech companies in de-risking and accelerating their growth and success into the US market.
These sessions, delivered by entrepreneurs and investors who have already scaled into the market and experts from Newfound Global, Exit Velocity as well as our sponsors, will include educational and practical advice on the US ecosystem, go-to-market strategies, operational considerations, talent and recruitment, business development and fundraising.
The second US Growth Workshop will run in September. To register your interest, please visit Tech Nation’s Growth Platform.
