Tech North are pleased to support the Manchester Digital Skills Festival, an annual four-day event that includes; a skills conference, the largest digital careers fair in the UK and the opportunity for students to get some hands on digital experience.

The Digital Skills Festival will be structured like so:
Day 1: Digital Skills Conference 9th Feb 2016, 10:00am-4:30pm
The largest digital skills conference in the North and a must-attend for all those involved in educating and teaching young digital talent and for those involved in attracting and retaining digital talent in the North West. The conference looks at how industry engages with education; what businesses need to do to recruit and retain digital talent and how we are educating the next generation of digital talent. The conference is free to attend.

Day 2: Talent Day 10th Feb 2016, 11:00am-3:30pm
Talent Day is the biggest and best digital careers fair in the UK, not only is it a great way to recruit fresh talent into your business it is an opportunity to show the next generation of digital talent that there are great career opportunities with cutting edge businesses right on their doorstep. Keeping talent in Greater Manchester is critical to the future success of our industry. Our event covers the full digital footprint; last year we had over 1200 students looking for opportunities in development, design, project management, digital marketing, UX and more. Talent Day has grown and grown over the last two years and this year, in order to keep improving it, we are charging a nominal fee of £250 per company. Day 3 & 4: Experience Day 11th/12th Feb 2016, 10am-3pm
Experience day will be a fantastic opportunity for students to learn how to build websites, how to write code, make games and much more. It runs over 2 days and many leading businesses and organisation take the opportunity to deliver activities.
