KPMG Survey Reveals Which Emerging Technologies are Likely to Have the Biggest Impact in the Next Three Years.

Results from the 2014 Global Technology Innovation Survey – conducted by KPMG in the US – have uncovered a number of key findings including the technology predicted to be most ‘disruptive’ by 2017. Other factors such as ‘barriers to tech innovation adoption’ were identified in a study of 768 technology business leaders. 3D Printing, the Internet of Things and Biotech/healthcare IT top the list of technologies which are ‘gaining momentum, disrupting industries and enabling new business models’. The survey was conducted between July and September of this year, with respondents from all over the world taking part.
