Securing the future
The UK’s first national scaleup programme for the cyber security sector, Tech Nation Cyber is aimed at ambitious tech companies ready for growth, at home and abroad.
Offering peer-to-peer learning, masterclasses led by expert scale coaches, meetups and an international trip organised in conjunction with the Department of International Trade (DIT), the programme will provide cyber security scaleups with invaluable skills, a powerful network – including peers, investors and potential clients – and the ability to implement changes to help their companies grow.
It’s free to join, and we don’t take an equity stake in your business.
The Cyber programme will also engage investors, academia and industry on a wider scale, through mentoring, market reports, events and thought leadership pieces, including Tech Nation’s Cyber Collaboration Toolkit.

Applications for Cyber opened on the 8th of February, ended with a judging roundtable on the 28th of March and our Cyber 1.0 cohort was announced on the 17th of April. If your company qualifies for the programme, don’t hesitate to get in touch for future opportunities.
To apply for the programme, your business must:
- Be headquartered in the UK
- 10+ employees
- Seed funding at minimum (or, if bootstrapped, £500,000+ in revenue)
- Ambitions to grow, expand and be industry leader
What is included in the programme?
Four founder-focused sessions delivered by world-leading scale coaches covering core issues, from investment to the evolution of sales and international expansion.
Five intimate networking sessions designed with the wider leadership team in mind to foster peer-to-peer learning and explore the challenges faced by different roles and departments.
Three trips, including a thought leadership event and an international trip co-organised with DIT, to showcase companies at home and overseas.
The chance to share experiences, problem-solve with peers and learn from industry leaders and scale coaches who have been through the journey already.

“Most startup’s wish-lists look the same: customers, talent, capital – in that order. For Cyber Security companies these have been typically harder to acquire but the importance of the growth of this sector to the UK means things must change. Thankfully they are!”
