If diversity targets set by the wind industry are to be met by 2030, one in six candidates appointed to the sector from now onwards needs to be female. The sector is looking to recruit 274,000 new engineers by the end of the decade, with Black, Asian, minority ethnic and female employment targets of 40%.

However, many companies are struggling to attract any female applicants at all at present.

Developing Experts is led by a female founder, Sarah Mintey, and provides science-based learning opportunities for scaling businesses.
