When Tech Zero was started by Tech Nation and a group of leading tech companies, they knew that by working together, we could make faster progress to net zero. Today, Tech Zero boasts 350+ members across 33 countries, including unicorns like Monzo, Skyscanner, and Wise.
As we drive the climate action group for the tech industry forward, Tech Nation now works together with Octopus Energy to support companies on their net zero journeys. Since 2021, Tech Zero members have reduced their carbon emissions by 24% on average. In 2024 alone, Tech Zero members reduced their emissions by 11%.
As new technologies like AI increase the need for compute power, companies across the tech ecosystem must take steps to tackle their own emissions. But tech can also be one of the biggest enablers for climate action; improving efficiencies, decarbonising supply chains, and driving the clean energy transition.
